Could you be the full-time Senior Process Engineer in Bangalore, KA we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

· Take on a new challenge and apply your technical expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside proactive and collaborative teammates.

· You'll play a pivotal role in defining manufacturing processes and equipment for new products, ensuring alignment with industrial policies, standards, and project constraints. Day-to-day, you’ll collaborate closely with internal teams like Process Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, APSYS Leaders, and Tooling Engineers, as well as external stakeholders such as Product Design Engineers, Supply Chain, and Industrial Quality teams. Together, you’ll create innovative solutions, optimize workflows, and much more.

· You’ll specifically take care of tasks such as developing industrial documentation, estimating manufacturing workloads, and validating product designs, but also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support production teams in achieving quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) targets.

 

We’ll look to you for:

· Gathering and communicating industrial requirements to the Engineering team during the specification and preliminary design phases.

· Actively participating in co-engineering activities to influence product design and developing macro-processes based on standard SMP.

· Preparing for the introduction of new technologies with associated process validation plans.

· Designing workstation layouts in compliance with ergonomic and EHS rules while optimizing movements.

· Completing detailed P-FMEAs and line balancing to ensure efficient production workflows.

· Validating product designs and industrialization through FAR and FAI processes.

· Supporting production teams post-serial Go to meet QCD targets and industrializing retrofits after engineering changes.

· Bringing expertise to the industrial costing process during tender phases and contributing to R&D programs.

· Performing industrial REX (Return of Experience) on manufacturing processes to drive continuous improvement.

· Education: B.E/B.Tech/Diploma related to manufacturing

· Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Process Engineering, preferably in the railway or auto industry.

· Technical expertise in process engineering, work instructions, line balancing, and Lean Manufacturing.

· Experience with ERP systems like SAP for Bill of Materials, routings, and configuration follow-up.

· Knowledge of CAD and PLM tools (e.g., CATIA, DELMIA) and familiarity with IS tools.

· Understanding of quality, EHS standards, ergonomics, and methodologies like Process FMEA and QRQC.

· Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

· Logical, organized, and self-motivated with a commitment to delivering results.
