Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in managing digital mock-ups and mechanical architecture to a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, innovative, and forward-thinking teammates.
You'll play a key role in shaping the future of rail transport by ensuring the seamless integration of mechanical designs and maintaining high standards of quality. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as SBS designers, industrial teams, and DTC stakeholders), lead collaborative design workshops, and ensure compliance with métier rules, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of managing digital mock-ups, producing related KPIs, and leading train mechanical architecture derivations into installation specifications, but also managing perceived quality and producing color and finishing specifications.
We’ll look to you for:

Managing digital mock-ups and producing related KPIs (completion, maturity, conformity to métier rules)

Overseeing perceived quality and producing color and finishing specifications
-
Managing dimensional requirements for train architecture (identification, quantification, priority definition, historic dashboard)
-
Organizing day-to-day collaborative work with SBS designers and development stakeholders (including industrial teams and DTC)

Leading train mechanical architecture derivation into installation specifications (interface definition, volume allocation, tolerances)

Producing decision books and consolidating needed inputs

Structuring, sequencing, and leading collaborative design workshops
-
Preparing data for decision-making within train level and SBS governance
-
Producing related KPIs and providing continuous visibility on mechanical development maturity and adherence to carry-over targets

Communicating progress and raising issues to relevant development governances

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field

Experience or understanding of digital mock-up management and KPI production

Knowledge of train architecture, dimensional requirements, and mechanical development processes

Familiarity with collaborative design workshops and cross-functional teamwork

A certification in mechanical design or a related area

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
