Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your payroll and compliance expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant Full & Final (F&F) settlements for separating employees across Alstom entities in India. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (HR Business Partners, HR Operations, Finance, and Legal), coordinate with external stakeholders such as statutory authorities and payroll vendors, and contribute to process efficiency and continuous improvement within the payroll function.
You’ll specifically take care of validating and processing F&F settlements, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and maintaining data integrity, but also handle escalations professionally and support separating employees with clear and empathetic communication.
We’ll look to you for:
-
Computing F&F settlements in line with employment contracts, policies, and applicable laws
-
Validating last working day details, no-dues status, attendance/leave balances, and recoveries
-
Ensuring adherence to SLA timelines and accuracy standards for F&F processing
-
Maintaining documentation such as SOPs, policy variation matrices, and F&F checklists
-
Collaborating with internal teams to reconcile provisions versus liabilities
-
Providing transparent communication to separating employees and resolving queries professionally
All about you

-
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, HR, or a related field
-
4–7 years of total payroll experience, with at least 2 years dedicated to F&F settlements in a multi-entity environment
-

-
Hands-on experience with HRIS systems (e.g., SuccessFactors), payroll service vendors, and advanced MS Excel skills (e.g., lookups, pivots; macros are advantageous)
-
Proficiency in payroll accounting and taxation, including TDS under Section 192 and final year-end tax reconciliation
-
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
-
Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines
