Could you be the full-time OT Network and Security Architect in the Bangalore we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your network design and security expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of Alstom's network infrastructure. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, such as IT system administrators, security analysts, and application developers, to align network solutions with security requirements, oversee the installation and configuration of network infrastructure, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of developing comprehensive network architecture plans and implementing security solutions, but also lead incident response activities and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Designing secure and scalable network architectures, including LANs, WANs, SDWAN, and Zero Trust Access (ZTNA)

  • Developing and implementing robust security policies and procedures

  • Deploying and configuring security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection

  • Monitoring network performance and implementing optimizations for stability and availability

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with security requirements

  • Leading incident response activities and contributing to security awareness programs

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology or a related field

  • Expertise in network protocols (TCP/IP, routing protocols, MPLS)

  • Deep understanding of network security concepts (firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, access control lists)

  • Familiarity with network automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ansible)

  • Knowledge of cloud network security architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP)

  • Professional industry-standard certifications like CCNA/NP/IP/IE (an added advantage)

  • Strong network analysis and troubleshooting skills

  • Experience in operational environments such as NOC or IT for 6+ years

  • Understanding of disaster recovery planning, resilience, and high availability features

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
