Could you be the full-time Mechanical Design Manager for Traction Motors in our RSC division we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive mechanical engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, innovative and collaborative teammates.
You'll lead the mechanical design management for traction motors, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and technical specifications. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (project and integration, electro-technical, industrialization, and more), overseeing the creation of design files and supporting the development process from inception to validation.
You’ll specifically take care of managing mechanical design activities, including 3D modelling, drawings, and analysis documentation, but also coordinating with cross-functional teams to optimize design for quality and efficiency.
We’ll look to you for:
- Executing mechanical design management following Design For Quality processes and IRIS/ISO14001 standards
- Delivering comprehensive motor design files, including 3D models, drawings, and validation documentation
- Functionally managing industrial designers to achieve design objectives within budget and schedule
- Overseeing the drawing design review process and following up on related actions
- Ensuring mechanical integration and interface management for motors
- Collaborating with purchasing and industrialization to engage suppliers for cost-effective manufacturing
- Contributing to and validating motor validation plans and customer documentation
- Ability to project management (plan/do/check/report)
- Master mechanical system design (functional dimensioning, norms and standards, bearing architecture, manufacturing constraints, material implementation, sizing),
- Skilled practice of design tool Catia V5, DMA design model management tool, office system

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Master of Sciences
- Experience or understanding of mechanical system design and project management
- Knowledge of relevant norms and standards, and design for manufacturing
- Familiarity with design tools such as Catia V5 and DMA design model management tool
- Advanced level of English with technical discussion proficiency
- Competency in office systems and software
- A commitment to safety, professional ethics, and a strong sense of responsibility
