To set-up repair and overhaul centers in India.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

 

Key accountabilities:

  • To understand the electronics test specifications and to interpret during test and troubleshooting.
  • Able to interpret and understand electronics product data packages.
  • To get ToT from other ALSTOM site for repair and test bench transfer requirement,
  • To provide trainings for repair engineers and set KPI’s
  • To work in electronics test bench to test the electronics boards / products.
  • To study schematic / assembly drawing / Bill of material for electronics parts to solve complex failures,.
  • Answers (and records) technical queries from Repair centers (and use support when needed from BGL & Design unit)
  • Responsible of organizing the pre-expertise activities for the electronics product failures.
  • Collaborating with other departments and customers on the failure/root cause analysis / quality issues and assist repair engineer while following all electronic repairs.
  • Dispatching the issue to experts (BGL & Design unit) when expertise is required.
  • Responsible to interface with multiple functions – Sourcing, Supply Chain, Rams / warranty / Repair Centre.
  • Proactive in proposing and executing “Electronic Design optimization” with design unit to improve – cost, robustness & reliability of the product (by linking functional, performance & environmental requirements - to the design).
  • Responsible for Electronic Component Obsolescence Management for key electronics products.
  • REX Capitalization for the failure trends.

  • Containment and solution of K1S/K2/K3 issues on time
  • Completeness and Quality of failure/event diagnosis/data and relevant documentation
  • Reliability improvement after FM implementation
  • Achievement of Parts & Overhaul Dashboard
  • Achievement of configuration updates
  • Achievement of REX implementation
  • Audit results (internal and external)
  • Compliance with EHS rules and work-related processes
  • CAPEX and Cost optimization
  • Training and competency development

 

MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES

Educational Requirements

Mandatory:

  • Graduate in Engineering or Industrial (“Internal Graduation” (“cadre interne” in F) acceptable)
  • Internal EHS training
  • English

Desirable:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering

Experience 20 Years

Mandatory:

  • IPC 7711/7721 CIS/CIT certification preferred.
  • Good experience in using debugging & test tools – Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Data Recorders etc
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Windows & Office environment)
  • In-depth understanding of Electronic Design Process.
  • Hands-on experience on Digital and Analog circuit design.
  • Hand on experience to rework electronics components.
