About Alstom in India

Alstom has established a strong presence in India. Currently, the company is executing metro projects in several Indian cities including Chennai, Kochi and Lucknow where it is supplying Rolling Stock manufactured out its state of the art facility at SriCity in Andhra Pradesh. In the Mainline space, Alstom is executing Signaling & Power Supply Systems for the 343 Km. section on World Bank funded Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor. Phase 1 in the construction of the new electric locomotive factory for manufacturing and supply of 800 units of 12000HP locomotives is also complete at Madhepura, Bihar while the depot at Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh is ready to commence operation. Alstom has set up an Engineering Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru, and this coupled with a strong manufacturing base as well as localized supply chains, is uniquely positioned to serve customers across the globe. The rôle will provide leadership the organization of Inter-company across all geographies integrated. This rôle will also be responsible for contributing towards the success of GFC





Operations :


  • Manage the Inter-company Operations of the GFC in the most efficient and cost effective way
  • Meet / Exceed the SLA and quality standards in the operations
  • Actively contribute in development, integration and transfer of the processes and teams from different regions to GFC
  • Drive standardization of the Inter-company processes in the Shared Services
  • Apply internal procedures & rules in line with the corporate & local statutory policies
  • Ensure the delivery of reliable and timely information to the units
  • Constantly Benchmark the operations with peers within and outside the organization to improve performance
  • Identify levers and implement actions to enhance efficiency in all operational areas
  • Contribute towards strategic objectives of GFC


People :

  • Create, Retain and Develop a strong team with the necessary skills and expertise to ensure a high quality of service

  • Be a business partner to countries in helping achieve business objectives from Inter-company standpoint


Qualifications & Skills:



Graduate or Post-Graduate in Accounting / Finance

14-17 years of experience in accounting with atleast 7+ years in people management roles in medium / large teams / diverse processes in P2P/O2C/R2R
