Could you be the full-time CDS Power Train Product Director in Bangalore, India we’re looking for?

 

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your strategic and technical expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

You'll lead the development strategy of the RSC Components Platform for the Traction Product family range, ensuring the availability of products for sale and delivery while meeting performance, technical risk, and cost objectives. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, industrial, procurement, tender, and costing), manage product documentation and definition, and contribute to leadership initiatives as part of the site Leadership team (CODIR).

You’ll specifically take care of coordinating product roadmaps and validating product solutions for tenders and applications, but also ensuring compliance with evolving norms and standard regulations.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Coordinating product roadmaps in alignment with defined targets at the Component level
  • Ensuring competitiveness of the product portfolio in terms of technology and costs
  • Validating and homologating products while maintaining compliance with market regulations
  • Aligning product strategies with the RS Platform for the Traction product
  • Defining products for tenders and applications, including addressing variability and gaps
  • Managing collaboration among teams involved in product development across multiple sites
  • Maintaining up-to-date product documentation and definitions
  • Managing PAB & PRB for new R&D programs
  • Actively participating as part of the site Leadership team (CODIR)

  • Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent educational background
  • Experience in Engineering or Sub-System management (minimum of 5 years)
  • Global understanding of internal processes (Tenders, Projects, Engineering, Industrial, Supplier)
  • Knowledge of Component Traction design
  • Ability to work in a multi-skilled and multicultural context
  • Proven leadership experience in a domain or matrix organization
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Ability to convince, be solution-oriented, and embrace challenges
  • Strong coordination skills, team spirit, and readiness to travel
