We are seeking an experienced Information Technology leader with Operations and Delivery experience to drive performance management and analytics function for Alstom IS&T. The core responsibility of this position will be about driving alignment and actions with the relevant stakeholders on the measurable success criteria for each service we deliver.  The ideal candidate has a knack for seeing solutions in sprawling data sets and the business mindset to convert insights into strategic opportunities and actions. The SLM function will work closely with leaders across IS&T to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions. They will ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures for everyone to follow.

Responsibilities Include

  • Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modelling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
  • Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions.
  • Utilize continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. ability to quantify impacts, customer first, waste elimination, increased productivity, iterate quickly, shorten feedback loop, experience creating relevant KPIs) to improve the service delivery
  • Work with management team to promote the up-skilling of talent, radically increasing value, and drive a positive culture aligned to our corporate values
  • Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyse business functions and key operations and performance metrics.
  • Recruit, train, develop and supervise analyst-level employees.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and technical guidance to members of team
  • Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting employees with comprehensive policies and processes.
  • Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining and engineering as well as modelling,
  • Examine, interpret and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in leadership and transversal organization.
  • Oversee the data/report requests process: tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, etc.
  • Develop and implement quality controls and departmental standards to ensure quality standards, organizational expectations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to people, technology, budget and business within your department and design/implement solutions to meet these needs.
  • Organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives through effective management of analyst and data employees and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders within and outside of the company.
  • Function as an integral part of the cross-functional implementation team, serving as the Business Intelligence Team representative as needed.

Required Experience

  • 12+ years of relevant experience being a Sr Manager and domain owner within IT Operations.
  • Demonstrable experience providing leadership and strategic vision within area of responsibility
  • Track record working with IT Executives, exhibiting composure, credibility, and technical acumen
  • Familiarity in ITIL Foundations and with all key processes
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize the ecosystem and relationships of various IT technologies for the delivery of business services
  • Detail oriented, knowing how to drive change to promote order, control and consistency into an Operations environment
  • Communication Proficiency.
