Alstom Services offers a wide range of business solutions for Rolling Stocks (train, metro, tramway), Signalling and Infrastructure products: maintenance, modernization, technical support and spare parts services. The Services Business Solutions department, part of Digital Transformation organization, is responsible to define the architecture, to design, to build and to operate the IT solutions supporting the Alstom Services business processes.

Alstom provides several solutions to support Services business activities based on different technologies. The role of the Project Manager is to contribute to the end to end Project management activities.



As a Services Project Manager, you are in charge of:


Plan & organize Projects

  • Plan/organize the delivery of the Project in the region and its activities in accordance with the Global & Regional roadmaps, Governance process & standard IS&T operating model
  • Contribute to optimize delivery model following defined sourcing strategy
  • Propose & implement initiatives to optimize plan / cost / quality
  • Ensure that Project activities follow standard methodology, process and tools
  • Apply templates and records to document Project activities following our standards
  • Work closely with PMO and ensure project methodology is adhered to


Resource Project

  • Contribute to define the capacity plan, skill matrix and adapt the sourcing model
  • Ensure that capacity plan for the Project are maintained timely


Lead Project

  • Contribute to the Project strategy definition in the region
  • Build strong and lasting networks with key stakeholders in IST&T and Business
  • Manage the Project plan – scope / resources and tasks
  • Manage Project interdependencies
  • Identify and mitigate risks – drive out barriers to success, escalate as needed
  • Manage Project staff by providing direction, input and feedback
  • Communicate with PL and other stakeholders in the region to gain community support for the Project and to solicit input to improve the Project
  • Liaise with PL to ensure the effective and efficient Project delivery


Control Project

  • Report Project status timely and following standards
  • Ensure that the Project operate within the approved budget / scope
  • Monitor all budgeted Project expenditures
  • Ensure that all financial records for the Project are up to date
  • Identify and evaluate the risks associated with Project activities and take appropriate action to control the risks
  • Use the Project evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the Project and to identify areas for improvement (lessons learned)

Your project management expertise will be needed to deliver the different projects with high quality and on time and to efficiently support our critical applications.



  • You are action-oriented person with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You are a self-starter and result oriented person.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills are a must because you will need to work autonomously in a worldwide & multicultural environment.
  • You should be agile to handle multiple tasks efficiently, keeping the big picture, and effectively delivering outcomes in a fast-paced environment. 



  • You hold an engineering degree, preferably in information technology with minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in project management.
  • Language skills: English expertise is a must both spoken and written
  • PMP is Preferable
  • Have experience in working with remote teams
  • Have a technical background and be willing to learn and investigate new technologies.
  • Have a knowledge on some/multiple Technologies: ANAPLAN, Salesforce, Java, Mobile (ios/android), Dell Bhoomi, SAP, Cloud (AWS, Azure Preferably), .Net, No SQL, Python, MATLAB, RDBMS, DevOps
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to use this technical knowledge in collaboration with other departments
  • Have a strong sense of customer service and satisfaction
  • Be able to demonstrate a solid financial understanding and be able to monitor and control a budget.
  • An entrepreneurial mind set willing to think out of the box.
  • Having solution orientated mindset and be pragmatic in execution.
  • Take the lead and be autonomous and show intellectual curiosity and creativity
  • Proven planning, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Ability to drive change through innovation & process improvement
  • Experience managing a team and be a collaborative team member.

  • Be able to report to management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • You have a very strong leadership and are business value oriented
  • A strong knowledge on IT technologies supporting Customer Services and experience implementing them is preferred.
