IS&T Procurement Operations Manager

Based: Bangalore (India)

 

JOB PURPOSE:

Reporting to the Head of Procurement Solutions, you will ensure that our Operations for critical Procurement and Supply Chain applications are performing in accordance with Business expectations. You will be responsible for our ARIBA platform implemented over the world, as well as several other central applications covering the sourcing, procurement and supply chain buisnesses activities. Your daily focus will be to secure the IT support and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities - Lead our Procurement & Supply Chain operations world wide :

 

· Monitor incidents :

  • Monitor incidents, make sure SLAs are met (Service Now platform) ; in case of critical situation (P1, P2 incidents), coordinate different teams till resolution thru Bridge calls. Get proper Root Cause Analysis to avoid incident reoccurrence
  • Be the SPOC to Business Process Owners (BPO) and Key Users (KU) to follow-up on incidents resolution and (re)priorization when needed. Help in filtering Incidents and change requests ; routing Change requests to the Core Team
  • Help Key users in making the right usage of our Service Now platform (authorizations, processes in Service Now)

· Ensure system stability and performance : Application responsiveness is to be taken as highest priority. The Ops manager will have to monitor closely, and work with the MES technical team on continuous improvements :

  • Analyse and communicate on systems’ performance : issuing weekly KPIs thru our Dynatrace APM tool will be needed, to check and communicate on good system behavior (no deviations in short term, no ‘bad trend’ in the medium term)

· Plan, coordinate and execute any required technical changes on our platforms : every time a downtime will be needed on our servers, to let our Cloud & Compute Azure teams implement any required system patch

· Track Run costs. Deliver adequate reporting to the management level

· Manage our Partners for effective support and operations

· Lead the Project2Run transition in synch’ with the Project Team : Transition to Run team must be secured for every project at the end of Post Go Live support phase. This is a critical milestone, when the Ops manager has to secure all has been safely and completely handed over from the Project team, for a smooth transition to Run

 

MAIN CHALLENGES OF THE ROLE:

· Ability to work in a wide multinational environment and with multiple skills involved (Cloud & Compute Azure servers, team of application architects, Business users for incidents monitoring)

· Capacity to secure the operations on Business critical applications (which must be up 24/7)

 

PROFILE:

To be considered for this position, the candidate needs to demonstrate the following skills and experience :

· Required skills :

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or IT. 7+ years total experience
  • ITIL certification
  • Excellent Communication skills– written and oral
  • Technological understanding : Azure technology, ARIBA platform and more generally interfaces with ERP

 

· Proven experience(s) required :

  • Operation’s manager of a critical Procurement application in the past (ARIBA platform preferred)
  • Experience with other multinational Companies and working in other geographies preferred
  • Responsible for performance and service quality for run activities
  • Process improvements and KPI-fluency : used to build and deliver Operations’ KPIs
  • Supplier management experience
  • Build to run transition experience
