Could you be the full-time Software Dev Analyst in our dynamic IS&T Digital Factory team?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive coding and software development expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, driven, and collaborative teammates.

You'll lead the development of custom web apps on our internal platform, the Application Factory, impacting how we streamline business processes through technology. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including IOT & Analytics, and various internal Alstom customers), manage project delivery, conduct technical design reviews and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of driving software development teams, building top-quality software products, and ensuring adherence to Alstom coding standards and best practices.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Hands-on software development with a focus on Java and Spring Boot

  • Ensuring adherence to quality and coding standards

  • Following the SCRUM process and providing timely updates

  • Delivering accurate estimates and ensuring on-time delivery of use cases

  • Being punctual, regular, and exhibiting strong teamwork skills

  • Driving technical innovation and excellence within the team


All about you

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering /Technology or related field

  • 7+years of Experience or understanding of end-to-end software development

  • Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Maven, and microservices architecture

  • Familiarity with Docker and Docker Compose

  • A proactive learning mindset with a track record of self-improvement

  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English

  • Agility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
