The HRGS Data & Systems Analyst is responsible to provide expertise on HR Tools to both end users & back-office users, supports the company HRIS strategy deployment and acts as a change agent to new solutions for HRGS employees. The HRGS Data & Systems Analyst will maintain the integrity and reliability of the HR data, ensuring that the data quality standards meet the needs, requirements, and objectives of the HR organization. The role holder is responsible for on-time and accurate delivery of the HR Data & Systems reporting schedule, including all standard as well as on-demand reports, and data analysis related to the quantitative & qualitative measurement of HRGS operational delivery.

Main Responsibilities

HR Systems:

  • Go-to subject matter expert for the systems used by the HRGS organization, ALPS and MSP.
  • Collaborates with HRGS teams to determine the short & long-term HR systems related needs.
  • Assesses current system utilization, identifies and recommends improvements such as training, customization, and enhancements to maximize value and efficiency of the HR systems.
  • Work with HRIS team, IS&T and other functions  (e.g. Finance) to maintain and improve the HR systems, including configuration, end-user access, system efficiency and to test new applications and features.
  • Prepares training materials, guides, and documentation.
  • Provides user training and hands-on support.
  • Identify alternative solutions to the limitations of existing HR systems applications and consider these limitations when feeding in requirements to future HR systems improvements.
  • Tier 2 Tools support – act as point of contact for our Tier 1 colleagues, usually HR team from the 3 HRGS hubs, who will escalate MSP HR Tools specific requests from our end users (Employees, Line Managers, HRBPs) on topics like system accesses, bugs, service flow which will require troubleshooting and if necessary further escalation to Tier 3 (HRIS, P&Ts and/or IS&T).
  • Provide UAT support, on HRIS request, which involves  application testing during its development or improvement following change requests implementation.

 

Process & Data Quality:

  • Build and maintain a HR data quality assurance framework, identify and address data quality issues before they have a chance to cause a significant risk to the organization.
  • Partner with internal HRGS stakeholders to identify solutions that help streamline and automate (new) HR processes.

 

Data Analytics:

  • Collaborate with HRGS leaders to establish clear KPIs and metrics linked to the operational objectives, ensure effective monitoring is in place and empower HRGS leaders to base decisions from data insights.
  • Production of employee metrics which incorporate into HRGS KPI dashboards and other data visualization platforms used for decision-making while ensuring that these are accurate and timely delivered.

 

Data driven process automation:

  • Identifies, recommends, and programs custom solutions such as automated data processing to increase efficiency of HRGS data driven processes, via MS Excel VBA or RPA if applicable

 

 

 

 

EXPERIENCE PREREQUISITES & REQUIRED COMPETENCES

Educational Requirements Describe the minimum educational requirement/level

Mandatory: University degree

 

Desirable:

  • Specialization in HR Management, Data Science or equivalent from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained

Experience  Describe the knowledge and experience required for this role

Mandatory:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in working with CRMs, ERPs, Data Analytics applications in a large multi-national company
  • Fluent in the English language, written and spoken
  • Multicultural work experience international and matrix organizations
  • Previous experience with HR business systems (SAP, Success Factors, ServiceNow, etc.)

Desirable:

  • Experience of working in organisations that have undergone profound change
  • Previous experience with RPA/Chatbot implementation
  • Previous experience with data analysis and visualization applications (MS Power BI, Qlik Sense, Tableau, etc.)
