Job Title : GSS Continuous Improvement Manager


Purpose of the Job

The GSS continuous improvement manager is in charge to maintain and update the business process documentation relative to GSS operational and content activities
He/She is in charge of developing the level of maturity in the team
He/she is in charge of consolidating the dashboards relative to QCDT performance in GSS scope, ARIBA guided buying ramp-up monitoring, SLA achivements against the countries/region scope. 


Position in the organization

Reports to the GSS Director
Functional link with the SCIM in charge of Indirect sourcing


Key network and links

Specific transverse position in the GSS team, with a concern of overall team performance
Functional link with the SCIM in charge of Indirect sourcing
Strong link with the central BPOs 
Transversal position with the entire Indirect Sourcing community and its stakeholders (Operations, Content management, Site buyers, CM/RCMs)
Participation to the knowledge transfer to next Hubs to be open in Europe and America.


Performance measurement

-Dashboard delivered on time
- quality of business process documentation and training material 
-Sourcing maturity roadmap improvement 



Process documentation 
Maintains and updates the Standard Operating Procedures of the GSS Content management worldwide hub in Bangalore, and the Procurement Operations hubs, including the one located in Bangalore.
•    Full consistency is expected with central Indirect sourcing procedures, which remain the reference for all the Procurement community. 
•    As the roll-out expand, and with the return of experience, the SOPs will have to be adapted.
•    Opportunities of improvement have to be captured, assessed, and translated in way of working, with the support and validation of the relevant managers (Procurement operations, Procurement content, Indirect sourcing organization)
Maturity development
Makes sure that all the newcomers follow the standard Procurement induction plan, receive a training on GSS procedures, and follow the handover process regarding their scope.
Monitors the maturity of the team, and is accountable for SMART objectives (to be defined) applied to Indian GSS. 

Performance monitoring
Makes sure data are provided on time for the reporting and for the governance meetings. 
Suggests improvements to the existing set of KPIs and dashboard
He/she specifies and monitors the implementation of the relevant reporting tools to automatize the dashboards.


Educational requirements

Bachelor Engineering Degree with MBA /  Specified certification in Sourcing / Purchasing preferred 


Technical knowledge / experience

8+  years of experience
Professional background: Operational buyer experience with an experience in Process and Tools (Key user, Business process owner, functional expert, former project manager in ERP implementation, etc.). A consulting experience would be a plus. 
Knowledge of reporting tools 


Behavioral skills/competencies

Fluent English & International background
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to get things done on time in a transversal position, is considered as an asset in the team
Well structured, ability to deal with complexity
Strong communication skills in writing and oral (presentations, procedures, etc.)
Is able to train people in his scope / organize appropriate training sessions
Driven, self-motivated
Ability to multi-task and deal with interruptions and re-prioritization.
