Could you be the full-time Material Planner in our Global Capability Center in Bangalore we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your supply chain expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials, supporting the delivery of sustainable mobility solutions. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including Site Material Planners, Site Buyers, and Regional Business Process Experts, to coordinate material planning activities, ensure supplier delivery confirmations, and maintain data accuracy in our systems. You’ll also interact with external providers, acting as a representative of the site when engaging with suppliers.

You’ll specifically take care of creating Material Planning documents in GSI (Alstom ERP Solution) and communicating Alstom delivery requirements to suppliers, but also coordinating with internal and external networks to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

We’ll look to you for:

  • Creating and managing Material Planning documents in GSI

  • Communicating delivery requirements to suppliers

  • Receiving and processing supplier delivery confirmations

  • Ensuring accurate information is available for Site Material Planners

  • Coordinating with internal and external networks to meet SLAs

  • Acting as a representative of the site in supplier interactions

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field

  • 5-8 years of experience in supply chain processes and tools

  • Hands-on experience with ERP tools, particularly in Materials Management Modules

  • Fluency in English

  • Understanding of Material Requirement Planning and ability to extract MIS from Supply Chain Information Systems

  • Experience in Supplier Relationship Management

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

  • Proficiency in tools like MS Excel, SAP, ARIBA, and Power BI

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Previous experience in a Shared Services Centre or remote working environment is a plus
