Could you be the full-time Electrical Sub-System Manager in Bangalore we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your project management and electrical systems expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Technical (QCDT) achievements of Electrical Products, including Looms (Harnesses) and Cubicles, for trains in compliance with the commitments of our Electrical Development Center (EDC). Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, such as Sub-System Managers, Project Directors, Finance Controllers, and Manufacturing Site Leaders, to plan, monitor, and manage projects effectively and ensure alignment with project goals. You’ll also strategize electrical development in collaboration with the EDC, Train Fitting/Lead Units, and Project Teams, among other responsibilities.
You’ll specifically take care of end-to-end project planning and monitoring, but also ensure quality, cost control, and communication strategies are implemented effectively.
We’ll look to you for:
-
Planning, monitoring, and managing Electrical Sub-System activities, including scope, schedule, resources, cost, risks, savings, and opportunities.
-
Creating and regularly updating end-to-end project schedules.
-
Managing project budgets for recurring (RC) and non-recurring costs (NRC), ensuring monthly cost follow-up, and addressing deviations.
-
Consolidating project management plans and ensuring lessons learned processes are continuously performed.
-
Applying Electrical DFQ processes on projects and proposing baseline strategies for configuration management.
-
Communicating updates through WPRs, Project Monthly Reviews (MPRs), and critical project KPIs.
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
-
Engineering Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree (mandatory).
-
IPMA Level D (or equivalent) or PMP certification (desirable).
-
3+ years of experience in core project management functions and processes.
-
Strong communication skills, including information sharing, negotiation, and conflict management.
-
Ability to work effectively in an international, multi-site, and matrix organization structure.
-
Proactive mindset with a strong customer focus.

-
Experience in rolling stock projects (desirable).
