Could you be the full-time ESS System Engineer in Bangalore we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your electrical, electronic, automotive, or applied chemistry expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and solution-oriented teammates.
You'll lead system engineering activities for the design and development of next-generation traction and auxiliary battery systems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Product Development, Quality Assurance, RAMS Engineers), craft creative battery solutions, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of collecting requirements, writing technical specifications, and managing the technical relationship with suppliers, but also participate in technical meetings with customers.
We’ll look to you for:
- Developing green energy storage solutions that lead the industry in quality and performance
- Managing development of ESS sub-systems or components
- Conducting system engineering studies for train-level performance and compliance
- Defining and structuring validation steps for new battery technologies
- Documenting solutions and following up on their application in projects
- Contributing to the reliability growth of our products
All about you

- B.Tech/M.Tech degree in electrical, electronic, automotive or chemistry applied to battery systems
- 10+ years Experience or understanding of energy management systems or systems incorporating batteries
- Knowledge of railway traction and auxiliary batteries
- Familiarity with hybrid system architecture for high power applications
- A certification in Technical Project Management is a plus
- Ability to lead technical projects and work with suppliers
- Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written
