Could you be the full-time EDU Manager - EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility Manager) in Bangalore we’re looking for?

   

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in EMC design, verification, and testing in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, innovative, and solution-oriented teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the electromagnetic compatibility of our train systems, contributing to the safety and performance of our projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including Engineering, Project Management, Sourcing, and Validation teams), lead technical studies to achieve required performances, and implement solutions to address EMC challenges.

You’ll specifically take care of managing the EMC compliance process at the train level and its associated subsystems, but also support the development and improvement of EMC guidelines, processes, and tools.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Enforcing EMC design and manufacturing rules

  • Verifying test specifications and reports from subsystem suppliers

  • Ensuring the application of manufacturing rules during prototype or initial equipment production

  • Performing EMC tests on test benches and on-site, and preparing associated reports

  • Compiling EMC Compliance Files at the end of projects

  • Resolving EMC issues encountered during projects

  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of EMC processes, tools, and design guidelines

  • Defining and performing train verification strategies in collaboration with engineering and validation teams

  • Supporting the closure of electromagnetic interference (EMI) issues during train revenue service

  • Capturing and implementing lessons learned into reference solutions

  • Graduation or post-graduation in Electrical and Electronics Engineering

  • More than 10 years of experience in the field of EMI/EMC

  • Strong managerial skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams

  • Experience in defining and implementing verification strategies

  • Knowledge of EMC testing processes, tools, and compliance standards

  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills

  • Familiarity with risk assessment and mitigation planning
