OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

• As a Digital V&V Leader, Responsible for enabling unitary, integration and end-to-end validation for the digital scope to comply with customer expectations, from testing protocols definition, conducting tests towards customer acceptance.​
• This role ensures validation of the complete digital system: onboard, train to ground, wayside, including for connectivity, cybersecurity and data, starting from TTG to VGR.. You will interface with System, project, product, Quality, cyber security and safety team to meet QCD commitments

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Contribute to Digital V&V Strategy definition, provide elements necessary to build V&V Plan
• Specify and design overall tests: define global testing plannings, test architecture (test plan), test design (test cases)
• Supporting the domains leaders/System Engineers, Digital Architect, V&V Manager with the definition of validation strategy for digital system, sub-systems including building blocks based on customer requirements.​
• Specify, design, develop and validate test environment & tools (test bench, recording tools, simulated I/O, …) ​
• Perform SW/SW integration on cloud
• Prepare and perform SW requirements test strategy, SW/SW & SW/HW integration tests and verifications of his/her deliverables, prior to the ones formally performed by a dedicated V&V team
• Supervising, orchestrating and validating integration testing and supporting end-to end validation testing execution. ​
• Derive test reports, identifying and investigating any anomalies detected. ​
• Supporting in the project Requirement Validation Table (RVT) definition to demonstrate the validation of technical requirements and the achievements of customer expectations.​
• Participating in design reviews, documentation verification and reviews. ​
• Ensuring application and compliance with digital reference processes, methods and tools, requesting deviations whenever appropriate.​
• If applicable: perform customer acceptance tests, participate to site tests
• Estimate workload, realize scheduling and follow-up of validation activities.
• Organize, monitor and control validation activities under his/her responsibilities (including subcontracted ones if any) and validation reviews
• Manage V&V work products under configuration management according to Configuration Management Plan

Qualifications & Skills

EDUCATION

• Bachelor/Post Graduate in Engineering – IT, CS, ECE & EEE or Equivalent

Behavioural Competencies

• Outstanding Technical leader with proven track record in managing multi software programs towards successful delivery.
• Be Innovative and demonstrate to peers and implement in creation of Reference Libraries, reusable codes, and model based developments.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and able to guide, influence and convince others in a matrix organization
• Ability to drive through all obstacles, collaboration with global team in different geo

Technical Competencies & Experience

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience managing/ leading complex projects and provide technical expertise in Software validation & architecture preferably in Digital program/Project
• Extensive knowledge about IT cloud architectures & associated technologies (Azure)
• Experience in SW/IT technologies : GIT, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins/GitLab-CI, Ansible, Artifactory …
• Good experience in Requirement testing on Simulated and real test environment and opportunity to grow at System Level.
• Experience in testing of Middleware with good knowledge of Communication protocols.
• Exposure on security principals, secure network communications and knowledge on security domain is desirable
• Strong Ability in problem solving and debugging, ability to narrow down the root cause in complex system
• Experience  in Micro services based applications Validation
• Deep knowledge of verification & validation methodology and processes;
• Strong problem solving;
• Strong leadership & experience in coordinating with technical teams.
• Preferable Experience in working with an international and multicultural environment;
• Preferable Railway IT System knowledge. Alternatively similar industries can also be considered.

EXPERIENCE / SKILL SET

• Should have strong experience in Validation and verification.
• Experience in virtualization and cloud based infrastructure , Microsoft Azure 
• Automation testing experience (mandatory) :
• Experience in Automation Framework
• Standards: CENELEC SIL2 / DO178A / DO178B, Cyber Security
