Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your technical architecture and digital railway solutions expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, innovative, and forward-thinking teammates.

You'll play a key role in shaping the future of digital railway solutions, ensuring seamless system integration and end-to-end validation. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across the business (e.g., engineering, testing, and project management), lead integration efforts, and drive innovative solutions to enhance system coherence and functionality.

You’ll specifically take care of designing and validating technical architectures, as well as supporting the validation strategy and test environments, but also contribute to the standardization of digital integration activities.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Assessing RFP and project needs for digital railway solutions

  • Analyzing client’s functional and technical requirements (e.g., RAMS, validation criteria, internal and transversal specs)

  • Identifying key integration topics and dependencies, coordinating with sub-systems managers

  • Ensuring system-level functioning, including interfaces, and conducting performance analysis

  • Designing and validating overall architecture, including technical documentation and interfaces

  • Developing and executing a robust validation strategy to meet safety, performance, and regulatory requirements

  • Providing expertise for the design and implementation of test environments

  • Supporting the standardization of digital integration activities and fostering the growth of the Digital Architects community

  • Leading project return of experience to improve costing and project execution

  • Driving benchmark activities to align Alstom products with the latest architecture and technology trends

  • Hands-on experience in interface management within a multi-team context

  • Experience in costing activities during the tender phase (preferred)

  • Previous experience in signaling projects (system application engineering, T&C) is a plus

  • Familiarity with Alstom’s ways of working for efficient process execution is advantageous

  • Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills to manage cross-functional activities in a multi-cultural environment

  • Capacity for fast learning, technical writing, and system modeling

  • Drive to innovate and push new topics within the organization and with customers
