In the Digital Transformation Department, Enterprise Data team is working closely with all Functions (transformation programs, function methods and tools...) and Regions to:

  • Be responsible for the entire enterprise data landscape on the full data lifecycle covering business requirements & specifications, functional governance and technical platforms.

  • Guide the organization to create value from enterprise data by improving data operations, data quality, as well as the business understanding of the data through data culture & literacy program.

  • Provide and support the technologies needed to collect, store, access and propagate the data to ensure they support the enterprise's objectives around data usage and governance.

  • Be in charge of getting the most from all our data assets to reach better decisions through efficient data architecture, design, delivery and run of the data platforms, as well as programs for the deployment of business applications.


Within Enterprise Data, Data Culture and Literacy department mission is to support the digital transformation teams and the business experts of the company to extract and deliver the most value possible out of data:

  • Promote the ability to understand, engage, analyze and reason with data

  • Manage data literacy program, centrally and particularly on Alstom sites (algorithm culture, data to actions...)

  • Promote data cross fertilization across the organization (available reports and KPI, accurate data in Alstom…)

  • Promote data culture through change management, promotion of data solutions and accurate data usage

  • Animate data network community with live events, up-to-date SharePoint and teams, adapted training documents and videos, eLearning

  • Animate business data community to ensure application of main data principles and forge a Data-Driven Organization

Alstom is now looking for a Data adoption & design analyst to integrate the Data Culture and Literacy team to contribute and enhance the data awareness, adoption and communication efforts on the internal data projects (internal efforts) and external ones (in interaction with the business).


Reporting to the Data Culture & Literacy Domain Lead, and working closely with other Enterprise Data Management members, Methods and Tools departments, IS&T department, Regions and Sites, you will contribute to the communication efforts on the data projects supported by other team members, by developing community management routines, creating catching communication contents and developing all the needed functionalities to increase attractiveness and user experience (on sharepoint, power app, power automate, websites with html etc.)



As a Data adoption & design analyst, you will have the objectives, with the contribution of your team colleagues, to:


    • Identify, create, and sustain communication channels
      • Identification of communication channels with the business stakeholders, with the impacted end-users, with the data team members and the rest of the Digital Transformation department
      • Participate in capturing the channels specificities and align the communication capabilities for each (Teams posts VS. Newsletter for example)
      • Map the channels with the stakeholders needs and the communication objectives
      • Create and develop the channels as defined by the plan (from new Teams requests to website development, including deliverables in html, as well as Sharepoint webparts and design)
      • Maintain the channels to avoid redundancy and obsolescence
    • Understand the communication needs and the communication recipients’ profiles
      • Identification of the multiple audience on external and internal data projects
      • Suggest editorial tone, details needed, formats required for each type
      • Test the communication plan and strategy with some users
      • Participate in creating transverse and robust strategies to address data topics, data principles, data information to the employees
    • Create and share the relevant communication content
      • Understand what needs to be shared from the team to others
      • Help the team to target the audience
      • Participate in defining the strategy for each communication efforts
      • Participate in defining the communication plan integrating the multiple projects
      • Gather needed information
      • Create wording with the proper editorial tone
      • Create your content (videos, newsletter, home pages, posts, tutorials etc.)
      • Include documentations, links, and any other dynamic elements to the content
      • Share your content as per the population targeted and the associated strategy
    • Contribute to the trainings sessions and the awareness plans
      • Contribution to the creation of live training sessions
      • Support in the presentation and animation of training sessions



A degree or higher in communication, marketing, design, or related fields, you have strong communication and design capabilities (minimum of 3 years’ experience in the concerned domain). Sharepoint, Wordpress, Teams, Power App have no secret for you.

You demonstrate good adaptation skills. You are naturally empathetic but also have influencing and negotiating skills. You have the ability to deliver training, facilitate workshops, understand other businesses. You are result oriented and show intellectual curiosity and creativity. You love to work in collaboration and you’re sensitive to others behaviors and feelings. Demonstrable experience of delivering customer satisfaction improvements.

Fluent in English, you are eager to work with autonomy in an international environment and to face the challenges of the new Alstom.
