Organisational Reporting

  • Operational Reporting: Project Engineering manager
  • Hierarchical / Functional Reporting: Department Manager

  • Part of the Core Project Team and works closely with the:
    • Project Solution Architect
    • Department Head
  • Interact project Team Members

Communication & Interfaces

  • Will work with Project and DMS teams
  • Interface is with the project team members and Customers

          MSS Engineer – Will be responsible for the deriving the specification and architecture for a typical Maintenance server application which will interface to different sub system – ATC, IXL, ATS and DCS systems. Using industry standard protocols, hardware and software.

  • Key performance Indicators
  • Respect of ALSTOM rules, values (AIR) and process
  • Reporting is accurate and on time
  • QCD is as per WP commitment


  • Should be of at least 8-10 years and above with deployment and technical interface experiences
  • Sound technical knowledge required for DMS (Devops,K8s,AWS,Linux SQL with protocol and network concepts)
  • Prior team management experience is mandatory.
  • Should ensure the DMS Engineers are facilitated with proper technical and management support (By conducting Technical training sessions and organizing meeting with management to highlight the issues.)
  • Prior knowledge on Signaling maintenance or other relevant experience is an added advantage.
  • Communicating in a transparent and constructive manner.
  • Proper Root Cause analysis on issues/ slippage of any data quality KPI and identify clear actions for it.
  • Organize support to T&C/ site team on timely manner.
  • Obtaining inputs, settling disputes, proactive communication, Plan activities and define priorities based on the customer requirements are mandatory.
  • Good knowledge on the change management and Requirement management skills is mandatory. Knowledge on the related tools is an added advantage.
  • Enabling each employee to realize their potential and advance within the Team/organization.
  • Effective tender support and optimization of the cost by bringing in new ideas and methods.
  • Should comply with Alstom process for project deployment.


  •   Bachelor’s in engineering / Engineer. In Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or Computer science


  • Clear communication, flexible to work based on the project need and Resilient
  • Ability to adapt to the latest technology and willingness to learn new skills
  • Ability to work with different people, team and acknowledging diverse opinion
  • Willing to take responsibility as when the opportunity was given in order to meet the customer expectation

Technical Competency & Experience:
       Language Skills: English and any National language.
       IT Skills: Microsoft office, EXSi, SQL
       Job Location: Bangalore. 
      Travel: 10-20% travel.
