Could you be the full-time Costing Tool Strategy and Deployment Manager in Bangalore we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in costing tools and strategy within a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, innovative, and dynamic teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of costing processes and tools at Alstom, ensuring their efficiency and alignment with business needs. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, such as Product Lines, Regional Project Offices, and the IS&T team, lead the transformation of our costing tools, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of building and animating a strong network of key users for Mercury (our current costing consolidation tool), but also lead its transformation program to improve efficiency and agility.
We’ll look to you for:

Strengthening and animating the network of Mercury key users by ensuring effective communication, training, and best practice sharing

Reshaping the current training path on Mercury with support from the PM Academy team

Organizing on-demand coaching sessions for non-mature sites
-
Leading communication plans for the costing community, including newsletters and webinars
-
Driving transformation programs to improve the efficiency of Mercury
-
Defining business requirements and analyzing solutions for tool enhancements and interfaces

Leading development and deployment phases in collaboration with the IS&T team

A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Engineering, or Business Management)

10 years of professional experience, preferably in the industry, with a strong background in costing

Strong knowledge of costing rules, financial principles, and contractual aspects (e.g., bonds and guarantees)

Experience with cost models and costing tools

Rigor and analytical skills

Results- and data-oriented mindset

Ability to work effectively in an international, multi-cultural, and networked environment

Transparency, autonomy, and a proactive approach

Strong communication skills in an international context

Willingness to travel for business (~20% to 30% of the time)
