  • Tender Teams : Bid Manager, Bid Technical Manager, Tender Sourcing Manager, Tender Industrial Manager, Tender Planning Manager
  • Operational Teams : Engineering, Industrial, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Project Management
  • Finance Teams : Tax, Treasury, Project & Export Finance, Tender Control



  • The Cost Manager is responsible for the overall cost estimate at Train level of a Tender, in compliance with its Technical, Financial, and Legal requirements.





  • Build tender cost commitment :
  • Review tender documents and submission requirements ensuring all financial information is identified
  • Develop project industrial and financial (Hedging, Firming…) scheme with Tax and Finance experts
  • Issue clear cost guidelines to the various stakeholders
  • Validate and challenge cost inputs (material costs, manpower costs…)
  • Collate risk register
  • Optimise planning and payment terms to reach cash flow target
  • Prepare reports & presentations to Top Management :
  • Help bring confidence to Top Management on data robustness
  • Provide the right inputs to ease decision making
  • Build “quick costing” based on existing Reference Solutions
  • Contribute to build robust database to ensure Team’s success :
  • Gather historical cost data to compare tender costing with actual expenses and previous tenders Share REX with other Team members
    Qualifications & Skills:
  • BE/BTech



  • Rigorous data analysis
  • Good overall knowledge of railway products and systems
  • Financial Knowledge
  • Strong in costing concepts
  • Techno commercial awareness



  • Good communication/presentation skill
  • Able to Adapt to a changing hypothesis environment



  • Strong Time-Management and Organizational skills. Ability to coordinate several tasks at the same time.
  • Strong Business Partnering & Communication skills. Proactive, solution driven, ability to work in autonomy and to handle pressure.
  • Experience in similar role for 10 to 12 years.
    Language Skills: Proficient in English language
    IT Skills: MS office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
