OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

  • Content and Communication portfolio domain lead  is responsible of designing, delivering and operating applications of his portfolio
  • Align with leadership, business & IS&T stakeholders etc. on roadmap, budgets to drive and deployment of appropriate solutions to meet business expectations on enterprise content/document management and communication needs. This role is part of IS&T organization.

IS&T Head of Cognitive, Content and Communications platforms

  • Business Stakeholder. Business Partner, Key Users, IT Team – Infrastructure, Network, Security and Different Teams in Business Solutions

.External network

  • Partners relevant to Content / Communication Projects/Delivery, Editors 

  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage team of ~5/7 persons (both internal or external)
  • Manage portfolio of both Content (Documentum, Chatbot, Digital signature, Aconex) and Communication (Reverso, Mass Mailing, Digital Asset Management, Alstom TV etc.) project suits delivery with focus on continuous improvement, business interactions and partners & vendor coordination etc.
  • Demonstrated experience with managing client expectations, implementing service improvement initiatives and communicating effectively with management
  • In-depth experience with the development lifecycle and software development methodologies.
  • Should manage and provide capacity plans for faster and un-interrupted deliveries
  • Responsible to implement Delivery Best Practices, Technical Governance Model to deliver in time with quality
  • Should be point of contact for Business for Content/ Communication Deliveries, Use Cases Status and escalation
  • Should be excellent in managing stakeholder including Business, IS&T and Partners
  • Demonstrate technical experience with architect and solution reviews/feedbacks on proposed solutions by partners.
  • Should coordinate with internal security, infrastructure and IAM teams to align on proposed solutions on Content/Communication use cases and projects.
  • Work closely with Alstom BPO’s to collect requirements, perform technical feasibility of solutions and ensure technical optimization and solution delivery.
  • Demonstrate excellence in project delivery using robust delivery framework aligned with Alstom’s overall vision
  • Oversee all projects/use cases in scope ensuring on time delivery, in budget and with quality
  • Periodic weekly / monthly review of projects status with key business & IS&T stakeholders and track the progress via project management tool.
  • Monitor, track & Co-ordinate with Partners on performance and availability of the applications. Monitoring and Tracking KPI’s- ensuring they are met by partners.
  • Participate, challenge, and validate technical solutions & architectures proposed by partner.
  • Perform KU connect / business connect meetings. Accountable for customer satisfaction
  • Prepare support documentation and training materials for end users of document management systems
  • Periodic review of the project performance with relevant dashboards creation and monitor to promote continues improvements with technical/functional interferences as and when needed.

 

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 12-16 years of PROJECT/PROGRAM OR DELIVERY MANAGEMENT for Content and Communication.
  • IT Skills: Content tools, REST, Graph API etc.
  • Language Skills: Knowledge of Java, J2ee, C
  • Techno functional experience with content , chatbot and document management.
  • Strong analytical skills for solving complex problems independently
  • Ability to work equally well with a team and independently and drive multiple topics

 

EDUCATION:

 

  • Mandatory : BE/BTech computers.
  • Desirable : 
    • PMP Certification
    • Any architect Certification like TOGAF etc.

 

BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Person should manage small-medium internal team for Content/Communication delivery (people management, workload/capacity management, recruitment, training...)
  • Person should be managing partner delivery team
  • Should have strong technical experience of Content tools along with Good understanding of the overall content processes and concepts (Capture, Manage, Store, Preserve, Deliver)
  • Experience of strong Architectural and Managerial delivery of solutions for Content, inckuding Chatbot, and Communication portfolio.
  • Manage regular communication with business to understand performance of services, pain points with platform and manage action plan
  • Techno functional role played and should have technical and functional understanding of Document Management.
  • Proficiency in Service now tool.

 

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE 

  • Exposure for Digital Signature.
  • Knowledge on Azure cloud platforms
  • Knowledge of Sharepoint.
  • Knowledge of Chatbot
  • Exposure of intranet and web content managment would be added advantage
