Job Title : COE Lead Designer Advance Indus

 

Purpose of the Job

  • He/she manages NEO Advance Indus resources (functional) and activities on the project he/she is responsible.
  • He/she is responsible for the NEO Advance Indus deliveries for each electrical baseline of the project he/she’s contributing to.
  • Build and develop the AI technical competency in the Team.

 

Organisation Reporting

  • Hierarchical : NEO Advance Indus Domain Lead
  • Functional : Cubicle Design Leader (CDL) and Harness Design Leader (HDL)

 

Network & Links

  • He/she is in permanent link with the CDL/HDL of the project.
  • He is also in direct link with mechanical designer, Electrical Routing designer, S&A Engineer and Industrial Engineer of the Project.
  • In Link with the Referents and Key users of Local and Central teams for Tool deployment, WoW sharing.

 

Performance Measurement/KPI’s

  • Quality of his/her delivery (included sub-contractor delivery):
  • 1st time quality rate > 90% (quality rate = modification validated OK / number of modification applied)
  • Respect of the delivery planning (included sub-contractor delivery):
    • 100% on time delivery
  • Level of application of standard PPL:
    • 100% of PPL
  • Configuration management of his/her deliverables:
    • 100% of deliverables properly managed into configuration database
  • Continuous improvement or Return on Experience (RoE) management from previous projects:
  • zero missing RoE

 

Responsibilities

Accountable for:

  • Delivery of the right deliverables at the right moment to the CDL/HDL and to Manufacturing, consisting of the complete electrical deliverables for each baseline and retrofit.
  • Validation of deliverables and feedback to Engg on technical issues.
  • RFC Management: Respond to the RFCs from Manufacturing, Site support during the 1st TS build.
  • REX implementation of past projects.
  • Applying the Metier Rules and Processes

Responsible for:

  • Delivery of NEO AI files – Jigboard, Plug map, Wirelist, Marker, Cutting files and BOM,
  • Managing the AI QCD of his/her project,
  • Managing the AI work-load of his/her project,
  • Sub-contracting management (definition, monitoring, acceptance)
  • Capturing REX of the project and implement in future projects.

 

 

Knowledge & Experience

  • Engineering school Graduate
  • Total Experience : + X Years
  • Electrical Harness Manufacturing,
  • Experience in activity management (at least 2 years),
  • Team management (at least 2 years),
  • Train System and Harness Integration Knowledge

Advance Indus activities-

  • NEO Advance Indus module tool knowledge
  • Standard Manufacturing Process and Line of Harness and Cubicle manufacturing
  • Acceptance Criteria requirements for acceptability of Wiring harness
  • Basics of 3D Modelling and drafting tools
  • Fluent English.
  • Good Interpersonal and communication skills

 

Team size

  • Functional reports: he/she manages functionally at least 3 persons
  • Depending on project number, his/her team can evolve to about 8-10 persons

 

Innovation

  • Force of proposal for Process evolution/improvement.
  • Force of proposal for QCD improvement.
