Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your financial governance and cost optimization expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside proactive and detail-oriented teammates.

You'll play a critical role in ensuring financial discipline, transparency, and efficiency across Compute & Cloud environments, including cloud, on-premises, and infrastructure-related licenses. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across Finance, IT, Procurement, and Vendors, monitor budgets and expenses, and contribute to cost-saving initiatives and financial governance, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of budget planning, forecasting, and reporting, but also support contract management and license optimization.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Leading and supporting budget forecasting and planning activities for Compute & Cloud (C&C).

  • Tracking actuals versus budget to ensure financial alignment and providing actionable insights to leadership.

  • Managing and monitoring cloud and compute IT expenses, including new services like marketplace offerings.

  • Delivering regular financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs to leadership.

  • Contributing to cost-saving initiatives and continuous budget optimization.

  • Ensuring transparency, fairness, and alignment in recharge model management.

  • Monitoring vendor contracts and ensuring compliance with service catalog references.

  • Optimizing license usage and coordinating with the Software Asset Management (SAM) team.

  • Developing and enhancing automated reporting and dashboards for finance, cloud cost monitoring, and recharge tracking.

  • Consolidating and tracking purchase requests (PRs) and purchase orders (POs) across relevant teams and providers.

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, IT, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in FinOps, IT Finance, or Cloud Cost Management.

  • Strong understanding of cloud cost structures (Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure preferred).

  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes.

  • Proficiency in financial reporting tools and dashboards (e.g., Excel, Power BI).

  • Knowledge of recharge, showback, and chargeback models.

  • FinOps Foundation certification or similar (preferred).

  • Experience in vendor and contract management.

  • Familiarity with IT service management and service catalogs.

  • Knowledge of Software Asset Management (SAM) practices.
