Job Title: Bogie Brake Engineer
Purpose of the Job:
- Guarantee together with the Integrators, the validation of braking functional performances at tenders and projects level (from sizing calculations, equipment choice, bench tests to line tests)
- Ensure creation, durability, and evolution of design standards (software, methods, bodies database)

Responsibilities
- Perform performance and thermal calculations for projects, tenders and R&D.
- Write braking and equipment general specifications. §
- Manage each project as specific project, respecting quality, cost and deadline commitments §
- Specify and validate braking tests at bench §
- Participate with the integrators to line tests specification and follow-up. §
- Make live the interfaces with the integrators, feedback and issues solution §
- Deliver the good solutions created on the occasion of reviews. In the end, make calculations tools and validation files available, ensuring delivery, training and (internal and external) technical support. §
- Participate to technological watch in his area together with brakes buyers, §
- Ensure the creation of databank together with the Review Standardization Department and the Suppliers
Job Specifications
Knowledge & Experience:
- Bachelor degree in mechanical/ similar stream
- Minimum experience of 5 yrs
Technical Knowledge / Experience
- Good knowledge of friction materials
- English compulsory
Technical Skills
- 1st significant experience in brake domain.
