The Bids & Projects Solutions project manager will deliver projects under Support Functions Portfolio with respecting Alstom PMO process. These projects will contribute to the transformation of Alstom Bid and Project processes by the integration and roll-out of a global solutions called Ody.C. Depending on the project size, he/she will coordinate with resources internally or externally and deliver projects with key focus on OTD & QCD  

 

Roles & Responsabilities

  • Primary objective is to delivery of the projects in the Business Bids & Projects execution domain, with key focus on On-Time Delivery and QCD
  • Coordinate projects in interactions with other towers, especially  ERP and Digital, when work-packages will fall on their respective scope.
  • Deliver enhancements in the applications, in line with business requirements and priorities. Lead Change Requests (planning, estimation, coordination and execution)
  • Contribute in collection of demand on his/her domain and maintain the projects roadmap accordingly
  • Ensure good relationship with Internal stakeholders such has PMO, Business, Finance, Sourcing, Infrastructure, Security etc.
  • Ensure Alstom Standard PMO gate process followed during the delivery of projects
  • Leading project with planning
  • Manage key resources / stakeholders within IS&T and within Business/Partners
  • Participate in Project Review Committee meeting for securing GO-NOGO of project
  • Overseeing all project documentation and ensuring Business sign off
  • Prepare and Conducting Project weekly/monthly meeting with Project team (example: Steering committee) to update on regular project status
  • Forecasting of Risk and mitigate to avoid change request/scope creep
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustment as needed
  • Measure project performance to identify areas of improvement
  • Ensure Service Now ITBM is updated with project progress on schedule, cost etc.,
  • Ensure Project is delivered and handover to Operations with proper documentation

 

Profile & Experience

  • Minimum 7-10 years of Project Management and related Bids&Projects applications experience
  • Planisware & Primavera background
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)/ PRINCE2 certification preferred
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Experience in managing Planing&Costing related projects.
  • Transformation projects
  • ITIL Incident, Problem and Change process knowledge
