Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in software verification and validation to a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, innovative, and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll play a key role in building the foundations of Alstom platforms by leading, organizing, and performing verification, integration, and test activities for developments ranging from software to product and system programs. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, such as V&V departments, Development Centers, and application teams, to ensure a seamless integration of end-user scenarios and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of defining and deploying automation strategies for validation activities, utilizing technologies such as Python, Cucumber, JMeter, and Postman, but also ensure proper coverage and demonstration that design requirements and intended use cases are met.
We’ll look to you for:

Defining the Program Verification and Validation strategy in the V&V Plan

Ensuring adherence to reference processes, methods, and tools

Organizing and leading documentation verification and reviews
-
Managing full verification and validation of program modules
-
Developing and updating automation strategies for validation activities
-
Monitoring and following up on delegated activities
-
Performing and following up on V&V software phases with strong collaboration with the Product Architect

Defining and implementing test benches and analysis tools
-
Representing Alstom in discussions with customers and partners
-
Functionally managing the Program Verification & Validation Team

Managing work packages and tasks
-
Preparing and actively participating in Program Gate Reviews

Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology, or a Master’s in Science or Technology

Proficiency in English

Strong analytical skills and experience in test and integration

10+ years of experience in a complex software solution team

Knowledge and experience in data/software validation with integration tests

Understanding of data science solutions
-
Experience in software agile projects and CI/CD practices
-
Expertise in testing automation strategies and deployment for data development (e.g., Python, Cucumber)

Familiarity with Microsoft Azure DevOps or similar tools for version control, requirements management, and testing

Basic programming knowledge
