  Your future role

  Take on a new challenge and apply your technical and strategic expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a dynamic and collaborative team of professionals.

  You'll play a pivotal role in shaping Alstom's compute and cloud services strategy, particularly in public cloud services, ensuring seamless integration of business solutions into our infrastructure landscape. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including IS&T Business Partners, Operations, Projects, and Design Authority members), contribute to innovation initiatives, and support the adoption of transformative cloud technologies.

  You’ll specifically take care of defining service catalogs and technological standards roadmaps, but also validating project scoping and ensuring value realization.

  We’ll look to you for:

  • Collecting business demands from IS&T Business Partners

  • Evaluating new technology solutions for integration into the roadmap

  • Initiating projects identified in strategic roadmaps

  • Defining and following technological standards and service catalogs

  • Providing technical assistance on business solutions within Alstom's IT environment

  • Designing, promoting, and encouraging the adoption of public cloud services (IAAS, PAAS, etc.)

  • Collaborating with the global compute and cloud team

  • Degree in engineering, preferably in information technology

  • 5+ years of experience in IS&T architecture, especially in hosting and cloud services

  • Strong technical skills and a curious mindset

  • In-depth knowledge of top public cloud providers

  • Deep expertise in SAP Infrastructure Design

  • Azure Solution Architect certification (AZ-305) is mandatory

  • Experience with scripting tools (PowerShell, Shell, Bash, Ansible, Terraform)

  • Proficiency in OS platforms (Windows Desktop, RHEL, Ubuntu)

  • Familiarity with DevOps tools (GitLab CI, Azure DevOps Pipelines, Terraform, Packer, Ansible, Git, REST API)

  • Strong communication skills, efficiency, and ability to execute

  • Fluency in English and a willingness to work autonomously in an international environment
