Could you be the full-time Analyst - Filer & Print Services in Bangalore we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your **technical expertise in file and print services** in a cutting-edge environment. You’ll work alongside a **collaborative and dynamic** team of professionals dedicated to operational excellence.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the seamless support and maintenance of file and print services within Alstom’s global environment. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as the Service Desk, Local Support, Network Team, AD Team, and Application Teams), troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues, and implement improvement plans to enhance efficiency and performance.

You’ll specifically take care of **managing access to filers and external data storage** and **overseeing data movement and consolidation to modern technologies like SharePoint and OneDrive**, but also **support print services while collaborating with enterprise architects and vendors**.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Providing support for Windows servers, filer, and print services, including tools like Printer Installer and Equitrac.

  • Managing file access and data management tools, with a focus on compliance and audit-related issues.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues related to OS, network connectivity, GPO, and application provisioning.

  • Driving process improvements and optimization in file and print services.

  • Working with key technology suppliers and vendors to ensure delivery against agreed KPIs and SLAs.

  • Proactively troubleshooting and resolving escalated issues related to file and print servers in collaboration with local and central teams.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Technology.

  • 7-10 years of experience in IT, with a focus on Windows servers, DC operations, LDR filers, and print services.

  • Hands-on experience in file access management tools, ITSM tools like SNOW, and compliance-related issue resolution.

  • Knowledge of OS components, GPO, and application provisioning best practices.

  • Experience in vendor management and collaboration with global teams.

  • ITIL process and framework knowledge.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to adapt to change, manage competing priorities, and influence cross-functional teams.
