JOB PURPOSE :

Reporting to the Operations Manager EUC Imaging, you will be be responsible for building deployment strategies and deployment of Win 10 SOE services ensuring functional requirements for SOE.

4+years of Experience in the design and deployment of the following technologies: Microsoft Windows 10, SCCM/MECM, Autopilot.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Expertise in SOE Build deployment strategies – Offline, Online & 1E, working along with respective team members in EUC services
  • Draft and finalize on design working with Operating System, Active Directory, GPO, Applications team
  • Review earlier versions of SOE and incorporate changes needed – fixes, updates, upgrades, Referential from risk log of build and deployment of previous versions of SOE
  • Work on In- place upgrade strategies on Win 10 based on Microsoft release
  • Supports the development and verification of test methods in support of SOE
  • Develops detailed test procedures, and instrumentation and configuration definition, needed to perform the test and minimize risk within the constraints of the test plan
  • Good logical diagnostic skills; ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues such as file and registry-related application problems on Windows operating systems
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft operating systems with particular emphasis on Windows 10 and Windows 7
  • Should be good in troubleshooting SCCM client installation, software distribution, remote control, and other SCCM issues
  • Monitor the SNOW ticket queues, troubleshoot and resolve tickets
  • Responsible for deploying of SCCM with CO management
  • Knowledge on Windows servicing & Windows as a service, Cloud-based endpoint management workloads
  • Create Low-Level Design Documents, Technical Documentation and Report creation for multiple workplace services
  • Contribute to New SOE Builds/migration and upgrades
  • Work closely with Technical SPOCS, Service owners and also with architects to integrate with other technology solutions
  • Maintain and enhance engagement with business, IT partners, and other stakeholders for Application management activities
  • Knowledge in PowerShell scripting for automating daily system administration tasks is preferred
  • Previous experience in a similar role, supporting a 24x7 corporate level business service including Executive level end users whenever required
  • Flexibility in managing global processes and being available on-call for emergency situations at all times
  • Develop and implement high quality support services, knowledge base content, best practices and methodologies
  • Excellent Communication skills; both oral and written
  • Have efficient time management, attention to detail and critical thinking skills

 

PROFILE : 

To be considered for this role, candidate need to demonstrate the following skills experience and attributes:    

  • Graduated with a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science or Technology,  should have at least 4-7  years experience in  IT with majority of it in SOE/Imaging, SCCM, and troubleshooting. Hands-on  experience with related domain is an added advantage and preffered.
  • Should have  good communication and vendor management skills to intereact with business across the globe.
  • Fluent in English, you are eager to work with autonomy in an international environment and to face the challenges of the new Alstom
