This role will be handling Record to Report Operations for specific country/countries under the scope of IFEC. The position will be based out of Bangalore.





 Operations :

  • Perform  day to day tasks in Record To Report as assigned as per set SOP
  • Perform  month end closing tasks as assigned as per set SOP
  • Ensure compliance to set process and SOPs in the day to day execution by the team
  • Monitor and report internal control non-compliances, plan actions to improve design and effectiveness of internal controls in the process
  • Act as the single focal point for FSSC teams and provide guidance on issues and resolution
  • Act as the single focal point for business teams, analyze issues and provide resolution
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis on all critical issues / errors reported, track and monitor closure of corrective and preventive actions
  • Track changes to the processes and ensure SOPs are kept updated
  • Analyze Balance Sheet Reconciliations and take corrective actions to resolve abnormalities
  • Actively contribute in development, integration and transfer of the processes and teams from the different Regions to FSSC

Language Requirement :


  • Manage communications between IFEC processors and the non-English speaking stakeholders
  • Provide translation of documentation from English to the respective non-English and vice versa wherever required
  • Maintain updated and accurate translation references for easy use by the process associates
  • Design language training and upskilling programs
  • Monitor language proficiency of process associates and perform interventional trainings
  • Train identified new entrants to the process on the non-English language
  • Monitor non-English communications, identify gaps and remove / minimize communication barriers
  • Actively contribute in development, integration and transfer of the processes and teams from the different Regions to IFEC
  • Actively contribute in standardization of the non-English language communication processes
  • Ensure the delivery of reliable and timely information to the units


Customer :

  • Build and maintain healthy rapport and trust with all up-stream and down-stream stake-holders to the Record To Report process in the country/countries
  • Actively contribute towards strategic initiatives and special projects when assigned or require

Qualifications & Skills:




Graduate or above

Language: English (mandatory); Certification / proficiency in a Portuguese Language (mandatory)



Above 5 years of proven experience as a Language specialist or similar position preferably in a BPO / Captive of a Multinational Company

  • Experience in translations, trainings



  • Process management skills in areas like Accounts Receivables / Accounts Payable / Intercompany / Record to Report / Travel & Expenses (desirable)
  • Experience in integration projects from operating unit to a captive or in a BPO (desirable)
