The position will be based in Bangalore, reporting to Digital Reality Domains Leader, will be in charge of managing Digital Reality domains of Remote Assistance (aR) and IS&T part of Additive Manufacturing.
This individual will own technical and professional support in managing the 3DP (Additive Manufacturing ) Hub in Bangalore for protypes and production products. He/ She will also manage and carry out usecase & projects for Remote Assistance(aR) and Additive manufacturing product development/improvement, product quality, and business support.
Accountability and Responsibility
- Accountable for the Managing the Domain level resource plans, forecasts future resource requirements, budgets and roadmaps.
- Accountable and owns KPIs for the Assisted Reality (aR) & Additive Manufacturing Domains to maximizes the domains ability to deliver the best results.
- Accountable for providing open and effective communication channels leading to greater knowledge transfer within the Domains and across the Business and IS&T functions domains
- Accountable for owning and managing risks, issues and dependencies at the domain level.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining the roadmap.
- Responsible for develop/plan, manage or execute projects & Usecase and ensure successful completion.
- Responsible for research and development in the Information systems and technology space of additive manufacturing.
- Responsible for Managing the Alstom internal business needs of Engineering, Industrialization, services & Signaling Métiers
- Responsible for driving collaboration and continuous improvement mind-set across the teams
- Responsible for coaching, mentoring and guiding team with day-to-day activities
- Responsible for Handling escalated internal business issue and resolving any conflicts at domain level.
- Responsible for proper reporting and communication management mechanism for success of the engagement
- Alongside the Domain Leader, takes responsibility of individual contributor on the technical and technology part of additive manufacturing.
Preferred previous experiences / competencies to prepare for the position
Education Qualification = Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is Must (Preferred, Industrial /Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electronics/Computer Science).
Master Degree in Business and Operations management (Preferred)
Professional Experience = 10 to 15 Years
Preferred experience and skills
- Must and should have knowledge and experience in team management through both coaching and mentoring techniques.
- Knowledge in Digital Manufacturing space from Railways Industry - preferred (else from- Heavy equipment’s and machineries or Automotive or Shipbuilding or Aerospace).
- Knowledge in Smart Glasses/ Augmented reality is preferred.
- Knowledge of additive manufacturing materials and processes is mandatory
- Knowledge on Design and development - Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM)
- Knowledge on post-printing processes for 3D printed parts, such as heat treatment schedules, surface finishing etc
- Knowledge of industry, technology, product trends and latest technologies in the field of Industrial collaboration
- Experience operating within heavily regulated IS&T environments for onboarding and development of software solution.
- Experience and awareness of IT architectural governance, standards and methodology
- knowledge of application architecture
- Experience with project management fundamentals with the ability to apply principles, tools and techniques to develop/plan, manage or execute projects & Usecase to ensure successful completion.
