Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your Business Analyst and Project Management skills in the exciting cutting-edge field of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. You’ll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring effective delivery of enterprise grade digital and AI‑enabled initiatives to support operational excellence at Alstom.
We’ll look to you for:
- Translating business needs into clear, functional and non‑functional specifications and high‑quality documentation
- Scoping AI use cases with stakeholders and defining success metrics/KPIs and acceptance criteria

Supporting project planning, scheduling, milestone tracking and dependency management
- Organising discovery workshops and design thinking sessions to identify, prioritise and refine AI opportunities
- Conducting stakeholder analysis, gap and impact assessments, and maintaining traceability across requirements
- Collaborating with Data Scientists and Data Engineers, Architects, development teams and PMO to ensure alignment

Ensure alignment on feasibility, requirements, dependencies and delivery constraints across teams

Managing product backlogs (epics, features, user stories) and supporting Agile ceremonies in Jira/Azure DevOps/Confluence

Preparing project artefacts (RAID logs, dashboards, status reports, documentation)

Coordinating with cross‑functional teams to track deliverables and resolve issues. Driving UAT planning, test coordination, defect management, training and adoption activities

Identifying and tracking risks across scope, timelines, resources, governance and compliance.

Supporting change management activities: communication, training coordination, onboarding and post‑deployment follow‑up
- Demonstrating curiosity, resilience, and a continuous‑learning mindset to evaluate new tools while ensuring value delivery

Exposure to agentic AI platforms like Copilot Studio, M365 Copilot, Dataiku and LibreChat to support development of AI prototypes/PoCs will be a plus

- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data/Analytics, or equivalent with technical exposure

5–10 years experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager or similar role in enterprise‑scale initiatives
- Proven experience in requirements engineering (BRD/FRD, user stories, process modelling such as BPMN/UML, prioritization techniques, acceptance criteria)

Experience planning and coordinating multi‑stakeholder projects, including RAID and project dashboards
-
Proficiency with BA/PM tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint
-
Strong communication and facilitation skills to interact with business and technical teams and translate complex AI/technical topics for non‑technical audiences
-
Good understanding of Agile and/or Waterfall project delivery frameworks
-
Experience supporting UAT, change management and user training for digital solutions

Familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools like Power BI and Qlik Sense
- Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and lifecycle (use‑case framing, data pipelines, evaluation metrics, model limitations) is expected.
- Good To have:
- Experience with agentic AI platforms (e.g., Copilot Studio, M365 Copilot, Dataiku, LibreChat) and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Technical foundations (good to have): basic SQL, understanding of APIs/integrations, data structures and data quality concepts;
- Certifications (good to have): PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, CBAP, PMI‑PBA
