Could you be the full-time onsite Process Performance Improvement Manager in Baltimore, MD, US we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive process improvement expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, driven, and collaborative teammates. You'll enable significant advancements in maintenance and business process efficiency within your role. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality Assurance), spearhead quality assurance activities, and much more.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Actively seeking process and quality improvements in the project at all levels, including developing, facilitating, and leading Kaizen’s,

  • Joining with the site management team to create and implement a business improvement plan to standardize processes for smooth maintenance and improved product quality,

  • Driving improvement in productivity and efficiency of Maintenance processes and Business processes through the management of tools and processes,

  • Providing support to the maintenance teams in eliminating process waste utilizing dynamic problem-solving techniques,

  • Undertaking investigations of repeat high profile rail equipment failures with our Reliability Engineer team focusing on root cause, trends, design, maintenance practices, materials, and training

  • Degree in Engineering or Continuous Improvement or related field,

  • Experience or understanding of best practice rail industry fleet management and maintenance techniques or continuous improvement background in an engineering or manufacturing environment,

  • Familiarity with the application of Kaizen methodology,

  • Knowledge of Business Improvement techniques and their application to achieve bottom line growth,

  • Ability to teach Lean and Quality methodologies to a diverse team,

  • Competence in leading business improvement plans and standardizing processes
