Could you be the full-time Material Handler in Baltimore we’re looking for?

Your future role
Take on a new challenge and bring your detailed, dependable, and safety-focused approach to our storeroom operations. You’ll report to the Materials Supervisor and work alongside a collaborative, solution-oriented, and hands-on team.

You’ll help ensure material accuracy, availability, and organization to support maintenance and operations activities across the facility. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with internal customers across multiple departments, support incoming and outgoing material logistics, and contribute to a safe, compliant work environment.

You’ll specifically take care of receiving, stocking, issuing, and shipping materials, but also regular cycle counts, database updates, and forklift operation as needed.

We’ll look to you for:
• Performing accurate receiving and basic inspection of incoming materials
• Stocking shelves, labeling items, and maintaining storeroom organization
• Issuing materials to internal departments efficiently and courteously
• Conducting routine cycle counts to support inventory accuracy
• Completing data entry and generating reports in internal computer systems
• Preparing outbound shipments, packages, and freight
• Safely operating forklifts to move palletized or crated materials
• Supporting a clean, safe, and compliant storeroom environment

Minimum Qualifications
• High School diploma or GED
• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in cool or warm environments
• Basic computer proficiency (Windows, Microsoft Office)
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions
• Dependable, conscientious, and able to work independently
• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
• Ability to meet regulatory medical qualifications for Maintenance Facility roles
• Driving record free of alcohol- or substance-related moving violations in the past 36 months

Preferred Qualifications
• 4 years of industrial material handling experience
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints

• Accuracy and attention to detail

Physical Requirements
• Heavy work: lifting up to 70 lbs occasionally, up to 100 lbs rarely
• Regular stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, balancing, and climbing
• Frequent pushing, pulling, gripping, and carrying
• Walking long distances over uneven terrain
• Adequate auditory and visual acuity
• Occasional exposure to high-heat areas

Employment Conditions
• Commit to working safely and preventing injuries
• Wear required PPE: hard hat, hearing protection, safety-toe boots, safety glasses
• Work hours may include shift work, overtime, and non-standard schedules
• Complete annual training and pass safety rules exams
• Subject to random drug and/or alcohol testing as required
• Must pass all assessments and a post-offer medical examination
• Position is governed by a collective bargaining agreement (membership required)
• Current employees must complete one year in their present role or craft before applying

Environmental Conditions
• Work both indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions
• Occasional work in confined spaces and at elevated heights
