We are looking for a Facilities Administrator for our Baltimore, Maryland Facility.
RESPONSIBILTIES

The Facilities Administrator is responsible for supporting Facilities Management for the maintenance and operation project. This includes service order management, vendor coordination, basic RFP/bidding processes and basic inspection/repair tasks.
Service Order/Data Management -
Create and update service orders; maintain master data for Facilities assets and other equipment - Perform in-person audits to confirm asset data at stations, railyards and other facilities - Support digitalization of checklists, inspection forms and other maintenance documents
Vendor Coordination/Bidding -
Schedule and coordinate vendors to perform Facilities-related work - Request bids/proposals for high value projects and repairs and submit related data to Financial team - Support monthly billing of vendor costs to customer
Inspections and Repairs -
Evaluate maintenance requests at stations; may perform some repairs as needed - Inspect and document station conditions as needed for maintenance, safety and insurance purposes
Desired Knowledge / Experience -
General knowledge of Facilities operations, including safety and quality requirements - Experience of working with a railroad or other heavy industrial environment - Basic/intermediate skills in Office, especially Excel (sorting, filtering, formulas, pivot tables) - IT skills - competent user of Windows-based computers, including Office 365 apps, SAP, and SES - Languages: English (written and spoken fluency)
Behavioral Competencies - Good communication, time management and organizational skills - Flexible working hours (regular shift is Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm, in Baltimore), - Ability to support on-call/after hours activities during inclement weather or emergencies. - Ability to travel to remote work sites (stations and railyards as distant as Martinsburg, WV) as needed - Comfort in Industrial environment where PPE (hard hat, steel toe boots, safety glasses) is required regularly
