Could you be the next Electrical Test Technician on Afternoon Shift (3pm - 12am) at our Ballarat facility we are looking for?
Take on a new challenge and apply your maintenance expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside motivated and energetic teammates on our pivotal rail project for Victoria, X'Trapolis 2.0.
We are looking for a Test Technician to join our Ballarat team in a permanent position. Our Test Technicians are a close knit team working to execute the necessary tests on our trains. Each role will have accountability for the testing primarily of the electrical components and will operate in accordance with the established procedures and guidelines.
We’ll look to you for:
- Perform electrical fault diagnosis, identification and rectification
- Assist in the identification and production of vehicle modification programs to improve reliability and maintainability
- Performing post work testing and validation as necessary
- Updating the Maintenance Management System with all work carried out
- Supporting with train movements and other depot tasks as required.

- A Grade Electrical licence
- Experience in electrical maintenance, fault finding, diagnosing and repair
