Could you be the Maintenance Technician in Auburn we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and learn about the maintenance of trains in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside ambitious and driven Maintenance Engineers and support them in corrective and preventive maintenance activities. Day-to-day, you’ll also work on overhauling the electro-mechanical components of the 4GT Millenium fleets.This position will be initiatlly based in Auburn and later would be moved to Rouse Hill. We’ll look to you for:

 

  • Supporting secondary level fault finding
  • Understanding and following work instructions, standard operating sheets and task sequencing
  • Adhering to and working within quality systems to the current applicable standards
  • Working as part of a team, complete or assist in any of the team's activities to ensure work is completed on time to specification
  • Using work related IT systems to record progress of operations and status of issues.

 

All about you

We are seeking a self-motivated, team orientated and proactive individual with a strong work ethic and who will undertake activities in a safe manner, in accordance with Alstoms workplace health and safety rules. You will also have

 

  • Electrical License
  • Prior experience in managing Electromechanical repairs incliding power Electronics, IGBTs, Contactors, Fans etc.
  • Ability to perform fault findings, provide upgrades to manuals, update database and ERP for repair reports.
  • Proficient verbal and written skills
  • Ability to pass pre employment medical including a Drug and Alcohol test
  • Can do attitude, willingness to learn and be trained
