Could you be the full-time onsite EHS Specialist in Atlanta, GA, US we’re looking for?


Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and proactive teammates.
You'll ensure compliance with EHS rules on construction sites, safeguarding both Alstom employees and contractors during testing and commissioning phases of equipment and trains. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (permit offices, supervisors, contractors, and the prime contractor), conduct inspections and risk assessments, and provide coaching and support to supervisors, and much more."

We’ll look to you for:

  • Coaching of supervisors ,

  • Work permit overview ,

  • Leading the EHS Committee ,

  • Accident investigation and action follow-up ,

  • Contractors management ,

  • Qualification of contractor EHS documentation and monitoring ,

  • Emergency measures and first aid ,

  • Exercising full authority to stop any operational activity resulting in immediate high risk to people or the environment"

  • Bachelor’s degree in EHS or related field (equivalent experience may substitute for the degree). ,

  • Experience or understanding of Environment, Health & Safety practices, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. ,

  • Knowledge of OSHA compliance (ANZI) and local legal requirements. ,

  • Familiarity with project environments and contractor management. ,

  • Demonstrated leadership skills. ,

  • CHST Credential or strong communication skills. ,

  • Strong teamwork and people skills. ,

  • Initiative and action-driven mindset. ,

  • Proficiency in Office tools (Word, Outlook, etc.) and good computer skills.
