  1. Leadership – Lead a shift of maintenance/operation employees that include technicians that do preventive and corrective maintenance and contracted employees that do vehicle cleaning. Formulate work schedules and make the necessary assignment to ensure proper support for vehicle maintenance, contractors, special events and any other activity that affects revenue service. Ensures the required level of technical knowledge is maintained by vehicle maintenance employees through on-the-job training, re-training, and re-certification. Monitor, measure and evaluate employees’ work performance and verify that it meets acceptable levels of quality and quantity. Establish priorities and clear work expectations and hold vehicle maintenance employees accountable for quality workmanship...50 %

 

  1. Collaborate – Create effective relationships with managers, peers, subordinates, and clients by displaying conduct that inspires trust, respect and reflects a shared purpose in achieving organization’s goals. Collaborate across departments to effectively manage preventive and corrective maintenance plans, emergencies and other events that affect revenue service. 10 %

 

  1.  Plan & Schedule – Develop maintenance plans and shift work schedules that effectively and efficiently use resources to support revenue service, maintenance assignments and special events. Develop and implement contingency plans for changes or events that affect planned work and ensure plans have the least impact on revenue service. Ensures the provision of stores services for vehicles subsystems and ensures the tracking of all parts usage and the reordering parts in a timely manager all vehicle systems are maintained properly. ...15 %

 

  1.  Administration – Account for all time & materials used to complete work in SES/GSI, ensure work orders are opened and closed in SES/GSI and information is recorded accurately and completely, inspect, and sign off work orders as completed and that it meets quality requirements and was performed according to standards. Record, review, track and analyze equipment failures, attendance, performance discussions and other administrative processes as required, follow-up and follow-through ensuring commitments are met, issues are resolved, and appropriate and complete communication have been fulfilled. 5%

 

 

  1. Safety – Enforce safety rules, work processes/procedures and monitor/audit employees’ activities to ensure employees are complying and adhere to safety rules and have the skills and certifications to perform their job tasks. Conduct safety risk analysis, inspections and address employee safety concerns and issues. Report completely and honestly about maintenance problems, malfunctions, incidents/ accidents, and other issues that affect the safety and performance of employees and equipment. 20%

 

 

  1. Supervisors’ duties will include 30,60- and 90-days evaluation of new hires.

Competence in solving employee, contractors and client issues and solving technical problems that occur in

vehicles’ mechanical, electrical, electronic and communication components and executing effective

troubleshooting and corrective measures. Monitor and evaluate failures and implement remedial plans to

ensure maintenance and revenue service targets are met. Ensures all appropriate measures have been

taken to prevent or minimize recurrence of problems and issues.

Additional information and elements to consider

Will require flexibility and willingness to support an organization in a 24/7 work environment. Safety

sensitive position that is subject to random alcohol and drug testing. Must possess a valid driver’s license

and ability to pass a 10-year background check for Non-Aeronautical Operations Area ID Card (Non-

AOA ID Card).
