Could you be the full-time onsite Application Design Engineer in Atlanta, GA, US we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive systems engineering and software development expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and collaborative teammates. You'll contribute significantly to the MARTA project by ensuring the successful integration and functionality of the ICC System. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including System team, ATS Specification project team, and ATS tools team), monitor and control various subsystems such as Signal, Switch, Track circuit, and Train Movement, and much more.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Defining the DataPrep plan for the MARTA project based in Atlanta,

  • Producing customized engineering solutions including interconnections between systems and sub-systems,

  • Performing Data Preparation for ATS, SCADA, and Security Systems based on Design Documents and Tools,

  • Performing integration of products, modules, and interfaces, including HMI, and ensuring data consistency,

  • Assisting in defect analysis to identify the component causing issues and interfacing with producers for resolution,

  • Providing feedback to inputs producers such as the System team and ATS Specification project team


All about you

  • Degree in Software Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, Info Systems, Math, or a related field.,

  • Experience or understanding of control and/or communication systems design, operation, and evaluation.,

  • Knowledge of system engineering and interface control documents.,

  • Familiarity with both Linux and Windows operating systems, including systems administration, installation, configuration, and server management.,

  • Proficiency in software design and Object Oriented Programming, especially in C and C++.,

  • Experience with Unix Shell scripting.,

  • Understanding of SCADA systems and industry standard protocols such as Modbus, TCP/IP, and Serial Communication.,

  • A certification or demonstrated skill in technical assessment and troubleshooting, with knowledge of tools like GDB, Wireshark, etc.,

  • Additional programming experience with C# is considered a plus.
