Purpose of the Job
- Manage the technical contractual scope of the project (Traction System Power Supply, Medium Voltage Power Supply, PRCS, LV Power Supply distribution and 3rd Rail)
- Ensure the implementation of the technical solution including the customization and specific configuration of the generic solution in order to meet the quality, cost, delivery and performance for the Power Supply equipment.
- Ensure the creation of Power Supply interfaces with other subsystems and the creation of the necessary documents (RFQ) for the purchasing process. He/she has to participate to the technical evaluation of the Power Supply equipment supplier candidates.
- Participate in internal ALSTOM meetings with System / Subsystems (Interfaces meeting, Technical Network, REX, CCB meetings for Change requests) and external with JV and Customer when necessary
Organisation Reporting
The position reports hierarchically to the “Power Supply Engineering Manager”.
Network & Links
The “Power Supply Technical Manager” will liaise with:
- Power supply engineering team + other subsystems engineering teams,
- Project: Project management team,
- Site: Construction + tests and commissioning teams,
- External interface: Suppliers + Subcontractors + Customer + Partners
- Regional Centers.

The “Power Supply Technical Manager” work will be evaluated according to:

- On-time delivering: 100%,
- Respect of Design For Quality milestones: 100% Go On Time, in accordance with the standards or rules of his Metier,
- Respect of performances of the system provided: 100%.
Knowledge & Experience
- Graduated from engineering school in electrical systems,
- A minimum of seven-eight years of experience in electrical engineering,
- Professional experience with railways transportation,
- Very good knowledge of electrical installation,
- Autonomy, motivated, initiative, and interested in technical topics,
- Fluent English, second language appreciated.
