Could you be the full-time HR Business Partner in Athens, Greece we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your HR expertise in a dynamic, global setting. You’ll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.

 

You'll make a direct impact on our HR service delivery by providing professional HR support to local business partners, ensuring adherence to company policy, and deploying Alstom HR initiatives. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, and Payroll Administration), support managers on HR topics, and much more.

 

You’ll specifically take care of supporting line managers in developing their human relation skills and ensuring HR processes run smoothly, but also contribute to fostering a positive employee experience.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Acting as a trusted partner to employees and management on HR-related issues, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  •  Collaborating with senior management to align HR strategies with organizational goals and objectives.
  •  Supporting organizational change initiatives by providing guidance on the human impact of changes and ensuring smooth transitions for employees.
  •  Utilizing HR data and analytics to inform decision-making and track key performance indicators.
  • Collaborating with regional HR teams to align local and global HR policies and best practices.
  •  Ensuring consistency in HR practices across the region while addressing specific regional needs and compliance requirements.
  •  Providing exceptional communication to foster a culture of resilience, adaptability, and continuous learning."
  •  Overseeing the recruitment process to attract and retain top talent.

  • 5+ years of HR experience in a similar industry or environment
  • Generalist HR management experience covering a wide range of HR practices
  • Strong influence and resilience within a matrix organization structure
  • Professional expertise in employment law, payroll, and employee relations
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle conflict with confidence
  • Intercultural awareness and a collaborative mindset
