Could you be the full-time Production manager in Astana (Bogie Center) we’re looking for?

 

During project execution, the primary responsibilities include:

 

From TTM to CGR, you will be responsible for:

  • Contribution of the production and service organization.
  • Assessing production contributions in terms of safety, ergonomics risk, and analysis.
  • Preparing the production and service site.

 

From CGR to FQA, you will be accountable for:

  • Completing preparations for production and services.
  • Overseeing all production and service activities across all projects.
  • Implementing APSYS across production and services.
  • Deploying SQCD and monitoring it using relevant KPIs.
  • Continuously improving SQCD metrics within the production and service organization.
  • Managing issues with the help of SES/MES (if applicable).

 

Tasks include:

  • Organizing the implementation of product and service modifications (both design and industrial).
  • Managing the upgrade of initial locomotives and equipment.
  • Establishing feedback mechanisms for initial service operations to peripheral functions to enhance SQCD performance.
  • Preparing REX at the project's conclusion.

 

Production Responsibilities include:

  • Managing production equipment (investment requirements, OEE, utilization rates).
  • Contributing to the optimization of site assets (reducing CAPEX, optimizing CAPEX, flexible service and production lines).
  • Facilitating Industry 4.0 initiatives at the site/within Alstom (AOS, SES, automation, digitalization).
  • Ensuring the production organization continually increases site operational efficiency.
  • Actively participating in Alstom’s production leadership network.
  • Providing timely reports on production KPIs to central operations.
  • Ensuring environmental protection within production operations with the support of the EHS organization and compliance with all rules.

 

Hierarchical Leadership Responsibilities for all Production Organization Employees include:

  • Managing time (attendance and activity management) of all employees and adherence to local regulations.
  • Continuously enhancing workplace safety for all employees, including contractors (if applicable), within the production and service organization.
  • Developing all employees, which entails furthering the skills matrix for processes related to products and technologies, as well as general technical and personal qualifications.
  • Ensuring availability of necessary resources in line with workload and production/service planning.
  • Optimizing the overall workload of the production and service organization.
  • Managing the PMC (Personnel Management Cycle) in accordance with local HR policies.
  • Implementing and adhering to corporate policies (IRIS, EHS, OHSAS, Ethics and Compliance) within the production and service organization.

 

Educational Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Master's degree. Alternatively, educational requirements can be met through relevant work experience.

 

Experience:

  • Prior work experience in an industrial environment.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of English.
  • Experience in the railway industry, preferably in industrialization.
  • Previous roles in production and/or service.
  • Previous positions as a line manager/production floor manager.
