Could you be the full-time Operational Support Manager in Astana (Service Project) we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your strategic and operational expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by driving industrial strategy and operational excellence. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, industrialization, sourcing, supply chain), lead process improvements, and contribute to customer satisfaction through effective project execution and support.
You’ll specifically take care of deploying industrial and supply chain strategies, but also managing performance improvement plans and fostering continuous improvement initiatives.
We’ll look to you for:

Ensuring deployment of industrial, supply chain, and sourcing strategies and processes for the project

Delivering projects according to quality, cost, delivery (QCD), contract, and safety commitments

Managing configuration and change processes, including decision-making for change execution
-
Driving industrialization efforts in alignment with Alstom standards, methods, and tools
-
Setting up industrial targets and managing performance improvement and efficiency plans
-
Leading the operational support team and developing team skills to meet project requirements
-
Contributing to continuous improvement programs and sharing return of experience across networks
-
Ensuring alignment with safety, EHS, and quality requirements throughout industrial processes

Supporting customer negotiations for variation orders and claims

Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience or understanding of industrial processes, supply chain management, and sourcing strategies

Knowledge of project management methodologies

Familiarity with continuous improvement tools and practices

A certification in Lean Six Sigma or equivalent is a plus

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication and decision-making abilities
