Could you be the full-time Material Planner in Astana we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your analytical and communicative expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Arailym Urustimova (Lead Material Planner, Astana), and work alongside proactive and empathetic teammates.
You'll ensure smooth operation of both Alstom service team as well as railroad connection in Kazakhstan. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Operations, Procurement, Engineering), participate in suppliers' performance improvement and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of placing orders, but also resolve all the issues that arise.
We’ll look to you for:
- Manage Purchase Requisition until PO creation
- Create the Material Planning documents (Call-off, Schedule Agreement & PO)
- Communicate the PO to Suppliers and follow Suppliers confirmation
- Analyze Suppliers confirmations vs. EKZ Service needs and evaluate the risk/impact anticipation on production/projects
- Identify priorities associated with risk/impact anticipation and set up recovery actions
- Organize and maintain regular reviews with Suppliers in order to check the status of deliveries and their delivery performances
- Maintain delivery dates in ERP
- Track missing parts until stock availability
- Ensure non-conformities replacement through NCR process
- Resolve Goods Receipts issues with the applied means of communication (overstock, shortage, damage, documentation, quantity mismatch, Invoices, etc.)

- Practical skills of managing large volumes of data
- Advanced Excel skills
- Familiarity with contemporary ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Axapta etc.)
