Could you be the full-time Material Planning Specialist in Astana we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your supply chain expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll play a critical role in ensuring seamless material planning and supplier management, directly impacting our production and project timelines. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Procurement, Warehouse, and Production teams), analyze supplier confirmations, and maintain the accuracy of material planning data, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of creating and updating Material Planning documents, but also resolving supply issues and improving supplier delivery performance.
We’ll look to you for:

Managing Purchase Requisitions until Material Planning document creation for internal suppliers

Following up with Procurement on Purchase Requisition maturity for external suppliers
-
Ensuring and updating the accuracy of material planning master data in compliance with stock and logistic constraints
-
Creating and updating Material Planning documents (Call-off, Schedule Agreement) and their respective Source List and Quota Management
-
Communicating delivery plans and purchase orders to suppliers and following up on their confirmations
-
Analyzing supplier confirmations versus Alstom needs and evaluating risks/impacts on production/projects
-
Identifying priorities, setting up recovery actions, and organizing regular reviews with suppliers to monitor delivery performance

Managing MRP exception messages and anticipating supply problems
-
Resolving Goods Receipts issues and following up on non-conformities with Procurement Officers

Communicating OTIF (On-Time In-Full) results with suppliers and driving improvement

Higher education in a relevant field

English proficiency (Alte level 3) – able to use English daily for speaking, reading, and writing purposes

Experience in supplier/customer relationship management, including daily activity and performance tracking

ERP experience (e.g., article configuration, order management) or ERP architecture understanding (e.g., BOM, NCR)
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams

Excellent communication and organizational skills
